Locals, in traditional wear, will be welcoming the guests with welcome drinks (Prepared by Landhoo center, Landhoo school, and “ranikama” team), and a special Boduberu event by Fenaka and the youths of the island.

Souvenir shops, prepared by the locals of Landhoo and locals of the other N atoll islands, for the guests to visit.
Activity 3, 1st March 2023
Several locations prepared for the visitors to experience local cultural and traditional activities such as “Binbi thelhun” (Havrvesting of millets), “Roanu veshun” (Coir rope making), and “Madhu felhun.”

A Maldivian breakfast prepared for the visitors by the Landhoo council, along with the Institutions and Women’s Development Committee.

A Maldivian lunch prepared for the visitors by the Landhoo council, along with the Institutions and Women’s Development Committee.
Activity 6, 2nd March 2023
An exhibition, by the institutions and locals of the island, to display the local historical activities that are still being practiced today.
Activity 7, 2nd March 2023
The council will be displaying the “Ancient Stone” that is being preserved on the island.
Activity 8, 2nd March 2023
A tour of the island around the “Vashaamagu” and “Kandoofaa”, with tender coconuts being served at every rest spot.
Activity 9, 2nd March 2023
The youth of the island will be taking the interested guests to a “Mud Bath” at the local mud.
Activity 10, 2nd March 2023
A ‘cultural evening’, prepared by a party that revives traditional sports and the “Ranikamanaa” team, to show the local cultural activities such as “Kurufali Jehun” (a stick dance performed on a boat), “Dhandi Jehun” (a dance performed by a group of men where they sing and dance to the beat by hitting their ‘dhandi’ (sticks) with that of the performer facing him), “Maafathi Jehun” (a dance performed by women dancing in two rows of ten each, carrying a semi-circular string with fake flowers attached), “Bandiya Jehun” (a dance performed by women, where they mark the beat with a metal water pot, while wearing metal rings), “Dhafi Negun” (a form of traditional dance performed by men and/or women wearing the Maldivian traditional dress while the participants stand in a circle and dance to the local cultural music using decorated wooden sticks.)

Activity 11, 2nd March 2023
A traditional drum show consisting of “Boduberu” Maldivian traditional drums, followed by special cultural dances.
Activity 12, 2nd March 2023
Showing the guests two big cultural activity ‘Koadi’ (cutting down of a wooden stick) and ‘Bodu Mas’ (a celebration where fisherman catch a big fish made out of woven coconut palm leaves)
Activity 13, 2nd March 2023
A tour guide group will be arranged for the guests to give a tour of the island
Activity 14, 2nd March 2023
A program prepared by the council and the institutions to showcase different ‘Bandhi’, ‘Raivaru’ and ‘Farihi’.
Activity 15, 2nd March 2023
Guests will be presented with a gift before their farewell.
